Bush: whooaa whoaaa… ... ... Did that.. uhmmm… whatcha call 'im?… ahhh … the outlaw… did ye kill 'im??
Bremer: Which one .. SIR.
Bush: that one… uhmmm... Shia fella... Sayder
Bremer: OH.. you mean As Sadr .. SIR
Bush: yeah… whatever,,, what's is the difference? Sayder Sadir Spider… whatever…
Bremer: Not yet… SIR… but Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt is doing his best… SIR
Bush: Whoaaa! Is Kermit the frog helping us too!! Whooaaaa!! And they say I didn’t arrange an International Coalition.. heh

The frog is not the best spokesman, believe me small bush.
I was listening to the daily press conference, and I wish I could find some of his answers on line…
Let me quote him in two great answers…
God… those are not mere answers! These are manifestos! Sculptures! Monuments!
“Yes, we destroyed the mosque at Falluja because terrorists were hiding inside it, and we killed many ENEMIES hiding there”
“We will SIMPLY kill them”
lol :*)
what can I say… no comment.

The uprising happening in Iraq cannot be stopped easily now, even if AsSadr wanted to stop it.

Here's an account of 14 stations of the cross, a pilgrimage to Calvary on Ember Ridge. You need a good strong pit bull on a leash, a script (here paraphrased freely, sparing attribution) and a Bible. If the walk isn't very far, the stops are frequent. "Would I have Answered When You Called," United Methodist Hymnal 2137, plays in minor key inside head. Oh, and it takes a while. Fog is rapidly clearing at the outset, and a few clouds linger half way, but by the end, conditions are sun-baked and mild. Midway, Douglas Irises appear in full bloom, soft purples.

Introductory. The thin place, in the script, is where we feel closest to God.
We adore you, O Christ, and we
bless you. By our crosses united
we redeem the world.
1. Jesus is condemned to death. There is a perceived threat to the Roman emperor and Pilate passes sentence, but Jesus leaves an instruction. Matthew 16:24-25

2. The cross is laid upon Him. He carries a cross bar that will be nailed to a post, and he carries the burdens we all bear. John. 19:4, 12, 14-17

3. Jesus falls the first time. How does it feel when you fall? Psalms 140:1b-7

4. Jesus meets his mother, Mary. She pops out of the crowd, and in that moment her love is as God's for his children. Luke 2:34-35, Isaiah 66:10-13

5. Simon of Cyrene is made to bear Jesus's cross. A centurion says pick this up and carry it—you do this all the time and others do it for you. Mark 15:20-22

6. Veronica wipes the face of Jesus. She wipes away the blood, sweat and tears and later sees his image in the towel. Matthew 25:34-40

7. Jesus falls the second time. Here the guide refers to a hundred year old store that burned down, insurance iffy, and hardly six months later is being rebuilt exactly as it was, an example of picking up when you fall down if there ever was one. Isaiah 53:3-9

8. Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem. Nice as it was for them to care for him, he tells them to weep for their own. Luke 23:27-31

9. Jesus falls the third time. Where the immigrant stands for day labor having picked himself up a few times to be there, he trusts in God. Psalms 119:25-28, 51, 61, 69, 85-88

10. Jesus is stripped. But stop, as we age, there's no modesty in a rest home except for that dignity we provide. Philippians 2:1-12, I Corinthians 1:18-31

11. Jesus is nailed to the cross. Christ subverts the Roman spectacle to personal transformation through accepting the cross. Psalms 22:2-28, John 3:16

12. Jesus dies on the cross. From death, hope. Isaiah 53:11-12

13. Jesus is taken down from the cross. Joseph of Arimathea, a member of the Jewish council, risks the anger of his own council and Romans alike and applies to Pilate to bury Jesus, an act of caring.Psalms 69:2-31

14. Jesus is laid in the tomb. Joseph of Arimathea wraps Jesus in linen and places the body in his own tomb and seals it with a huge stone. Proper treatment. When we do as Jesus would do, we act as apostles, redeemers. Psalms 30:2-5
Breathe on me Breath of
God, until I'm wholly thine,
til all this earthly part of me
glows with thy fire divine.
